Time just flies and our lives with it. In the blink of an eye, a year went by. 2015 has come to an end and we all look forward for a better year ahead with all new hopes, dreams and aspirations. Before you plunge into the New Year celebrations take a bit of time for yourself. Sit tight, close your eyes, take a deep breath, and shut yourself from the outside world. Now rewind to the start of 2015. Think about the changes that has occurred in your life, for better and for worse, things that happened, people who came in and went out. I can imagine what kind of a situation you are in right now for I’m experiencing it myself. A mixture of feelings emotions flows through you. You might want to laugh out, sob silently, yell at someone, shout loud or you might want to do them all together because it is the reflection of you.
But above all you just want to smile inside you. A gentle smile which is a gentle reminder that you’ve survived, that you’ve made quite a difference in your life. You may not see any appreciable changes but believe me, it is there, hidden beneath all those aforementioned emotions and feelings, waiting it’s turn in your life. Even if you try hard, somethings that happened will not make any sense to you right now or never will, but they’ll add up to be something unimaginable, something beautiful and then you may call it life, “your life”.
As you step into a new year, life will again take unexpected turns and the paths will be laden with stones and thrones. Don’t be disheartened, it’s all part of a greater plan.
It is another year, a new beginning, a new start. Remember to laugh, share, care and love. It is these simple things that brings about a meaning for life. It is much important to have faith in yourself. In the words of maestro Rabindranath Tagore ‘Faith is the bird that feels the light when dawn is still dark’. Be that bird, spread your wings and conquer the high skies. May you have a prosperous year ahead so that when you look back at the end of 2016 you may feel proud about yourself and be sure that it is worth all the effort you put in.
